In-home, mobile Associate Veterinarian role delivering hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in the Jersey Shore, NJ area. Flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, enabling a balanced lifestyle. Role emphasizes compassionate care, practice medicine with purpose, onboarding and mentorship, and remote support through a 24/7/365 center. Compensation varies by schedule with 4-day positions starting at $117,500 and 5-day positions at $140,000 base plus bonuses; 3-day and part-time options available with prorated compensation. An opt-in pathway exists to practice independently in a mobile/hospice setting within the designated markets.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD from an accredited program
- Active veterinary license in good standing
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia veterinary care
- Excellent communication and empathy with clients
- Ability to work autonomously in a mobile/in-home setting
- Flexibility to accommodate 2-5 day-per-week schedules
- Experience or interest in non-clinic practice settings (home-based care) preferred
