Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Joliet-Kankakee, IL. Provides hospice and euthanasia care for pets in clients’ homes, offering flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, about 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, and support via onboarding, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 Support Center. Part-time base salary of $40,000 annually plus bonuses, with full-time opportunities available and compensation details provided upon request. Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD
- veterinary license in good standing in IL or eligibility
- experience in hospice care or interest in in-home practice
- ability to perform euthanasia and compassionate end-of-life care
- strong communication skills with families
- ability to work independently with mentorship available

- drive to manage time effectively
