Job Summary
In-home/mobile Associate Veterinarian opportunity in the San Jose, CA area with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice. Provide hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in customers’ homes, practicing veterinary medicine with flexibility and support. Role emphasizes independent, compassionate care, mentorship, onboarding, and a balanced schedule (2–5 days per week) with strong client communication, patient-centered care, and collaboration with a broader veterinary team. Compensation includes a base salary with bonus opportunities, with 4-day and 5-day schedules available in the market.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- License to practice veterinary medicine in California
- ability to perform hospice and euthanasia care
- in-home/mobile practice experience preferred
