Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice, delivering compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in Newton, NJ and surrounding areas. Flexible 2–5 day workweeks with a focus on client-centered care, meaningful patient interactions, and independent practice supported by mentorship and a 24/7/365 support center. Opportunity to practice medicine with purpose in a mobile, in-home setting, emphasizing work-life balance and continuous learning within a community of 400+ veterinarians and professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) required
- Active veterinary license to practice in NJ or ability to obtain
- Ability to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care
- Strong communication and empathy for clients
- Ability to practice independently with mentorship available
