Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager with hiring, training, and developing store team members while overseeing daily store functions and opening/closing procedures. Direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly Team Members when the Store Manager is absent, ensuring adherence to safety policies and company asset protection. Maintain stockroom and sales floor organization to company standards, manage freight flow, and process SSC Corporate directives. Order and stock merchandise to meet productivity standards while implementing directives from the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin.
Required Qualifications
- Prior retail and management experience
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs from floor level to above shoulder height
- Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule or part-time to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
