Job Summary
As a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager, you will support the direct leader in developing and implementing action plans to improve store operating results, supervise day-to-day activities, manage work schedules, and identify training opportunities to grow the team. You will establish job responsibilities and performance expectations, monitor the competitive environment, provide product feedback, participate in interviewing store personnel, maintain inventory procedures and cash controls, resolve customer concerns in the absence of leadership, ensure store safety and housekeeping, assist with stock levels and merchandising, and help manage payroll and loss budgets while driving customer service excellence and team development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
- Prior management experience preferred
- Meets any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
