Job Summary
Assistant Store Manager responsible for supporting the direct leader in developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results, supervising day-to-day store activity, managing staff schedules, coordinating training opportunities, participating in interviews, enforcing inventory and cash-control procedures, maintaining store cleanliness and signage, merchandising and product presentation, and contributing to payroll and loss-budget goals. Requires strong team leadership, communication, customer service, budgeting, and compliance with company policies; physical ability to stock and lift up to 45 pounds; 3+ years retail experience with some management background; high school diploma or equivalent preferred; must meet state/local alcohol handling requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
- Prior management experience preferred
- Meets any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
