Job Summary
As Assistant Store Manager, support the direct leader by developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results; supervise day-to-day store activities; manage schedules; develop training opportunities for direct reports; ensure product quality, signage, inventory accuracy, and cash handling compliance; participate in interviewing and hiring; communicate performance expectations; monitor competitive environment and adjust strategies; drive customer service and store standards; support payroll, loss control, and budgeting efforts; lead and develop a team to achieve sales and service goals while upholding company policies and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
- Prior management experience preferred
- Meets any state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
