Job Summary
Conduct daily store operations by directing associate assignments, managing break schedules, and enforcing safety and brand standards. Lead the team during shifts, coaching Bear Builders to meet sales targets while handling hiring recommendations and disciplinary actions for policy violations. Oversee inventory processes including receiving, stocking, and counts, and resolve guest issues using independent judgment. Maintain operational efficiencies and adherence to corporate goals through consistent execution of financial objectives and talent development. Work a typical retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, requiring the ability to stand and move for eight hours daily.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of store management experience, with a proven, successful history in a customer-centric business, preferably in specialty retail
- High school diploma
- Basic understanding in the use of common store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance)
- Ability to work a typical retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Active retail store management requires the ability to sit, stand, and move around for at least eight hours a day
- Lift > 25 pounds
