Job Summary
Armed security officer sought to protect people, information, and property across medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues, and public events. Role includes delivering high-end customer service, responding to emergencies, deterring and preventing crime, performing ingress/egress control, investigating incidents, conducting patrols (walking/vehicle), maintaining client rapport, de-escalating conflicts, and monitoring CCTV. May be required to work with a firearm. Schedule is 8a-4p, Monday-Friday in Harrisburg, PA area; compensation $22/hr; benefits include medical plans, HSA option, vision, dental, 401K with employer matching, paid parental leave, earned sick leave, and paid training. Requires ACT 235, 21+ years old, valid driver’s license, and high school diploma or GED; 1 year armed security experience recommended; able to pass PAT, ASO course, drug screen, background checks; strong de-escalation and firearms skills; professional appearance.
Required Qualifications

- Current and valid DL
- High school diploma or GED
- (1) year experience in armed security recommended
- Must be able to pass PAT
- Must be able to pass ASO course
- Must be able to pass drug screen
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient time management skills
- Reliable transportation
- Proficient firearms skills
- Extensive use of force knowledge
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements
