Full-Time Archery Shop Manager and Sales Associate

Job Summary
Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging shoppers, guiding them through the sales process, and recommending appropriate archery products while promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card. Maintain expert-level product knowledge, lead training for other associates, and consistently meet or exceed personal sales goals. Manage inventory by analyzing Internal Flash Reports, ensuring organized backstock, and keeping the sales floor properly displayed with accurate price tags and signage. Maintain a professional appearance, communicate with store associates, vendors, and the Scheels Campus, and ensure work areas meet safety standards. Requires basic math skills and ability to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation ranges from $45,000 to $55,000 annually based on base wage and commission.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3 months of related experience or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Ability to work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Including product knowledge meetings
- Must be flexible to work varied hours, evenings, weekends (to include two weekends per month) and holidays
- Average 41 hours per week
