Full Time Apprentice Cutter Buffalo Central District Area

Apprentice Meat Cutter at Tops is responsible for learning to receive, process, cut, trim, scrape, package, weigh, price, and label meat products, while delivering remarkable customer service. The role involves gaining knowledge of preparing different cuts, striving toward sales and gross profit goals, adhering to company policies on meat operations, safety, and sanitation, and maintaining proper temperatures in cooler, prep area, freezer, and cases. The position requires learning proper case conditions, cleaning, stocking, and rotating product, and following applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations. Must be at least 18 years old with basic math, reading/writing, computer, and communication skills. The pay rate starts at $19.50-$22.20 per hour, with consideration of experience and labor contract seniority; location noted as Tops in Buffalo Central District Area.
