Job Summary
Administer anesthesia and related care to patients undergoing general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, ophthalmology, and ENT procedures. Oversee the medical direction of CRNAs to ensure optimal patient care. Maintain a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off schedule at Penn Highlands in St. Marys, PA, with an annual rate of $440,000. Requires an MD or DO, completed Anesthesiology residency, and board certification.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
- Valid state medical license (or ability to obtain one) to practice in Pennsylvania
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
