Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and coordinate patient assessments and education across the continuum of care. Manage triage, implementation of interventions, and follow-up for patients in preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment phases while adhering to state licensure standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing expertise for underserved communities through rotating shifts at Chamberlain Medical Center. Contracts are 14 weeks with an option to extend or move to another Sanford site. Weekly pay includes a stipend; at least six months of travel experience and an unencumbered RN license are required.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of travel experience
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
