Job Summary
Airport Security Officer at the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority. Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic, patrol outdoor areas, issue citations for parking violations, perform inspections and safety checks, provide customer service to visitors and tenants, enforce MKAA/TSA/DHS rules, conduct escorts, and support special events. Role involves standing and active movement, weekend work, and potential overtime; on-the-job training provided for inspection procedures; position is outdoors. Candidates develop knowledge of flight schedules and security regulations as they train for duties under DHS/TSA guidance.
