Job Summary
Plan and lead engaging recreational activities including games, arts and crafts, music, exercise, holiday celebrations, and special events. Encourage resident participation by adapting activities to individual interests and abilities. Assist residents safely to and from activities, including transporting them in wheelchairs when needed. Prepare activity areas and organize supplies before and after events. Document resident participation and communicate observations with the interdisciplinary care team. Create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every resident feels valued. Work day, evening, and weekend shifts at this Certified Great Place to Work.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Compassionate, energetic, and dependable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely assist residents, including pushing wheelchairs
- A positive attitude and a passion for enriching the lives of older adults
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Activities, Recreation, Senior Care, or Long-Term Care
