Job Summary
Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting of assigned areas, including floors, walls, offices, restrooms, and breakrooms. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately. Sanitize high-touch surfaces to prevent contamination and maintain hygiene. Replenish restroom supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Handle and use cleaning chemicals safely, following all safety guidelines and procedures. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned. Always adhere to company policies and safety protocols. Work 6:00pm to 3:00am Monday through Friday at multiple buildings in Salinas, CA. This part-time role reports to a Branch Supervisor and requires a driver's license or reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Must be able to clock in and out through the approved timekeeping system
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Desired Qualifications
- Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures, tools, and chemicals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
