Job Summary
Evaluate repair assignments, analyze manufacturer schematics, and diagnose electronic failures at the board level using specialized testing equipment. Identify root causes, repair or replace components, and verify functionality through soldering, circuit analysis, and equipment validation with oscilloscopes and insulation testers. Prioritize workplace safety by following procedures, wearing protective equipment, and supporting team efforts to maintain high service standards. This role supports our national leader in electromechanical repairs, ensuring reliable industrial motors, controls, and gearboxes keep national industries functioning efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- 3+ years of experience with industrial electromechanical rotating equipment
- Experience with AC variable frequency drives and DC drives
- Basic understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to understand, perform, and retain skill-related training, and operational and safety procedures
- Comfortable working with customers
- Good computer skills
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Willing to be on call one weekend every 4 weeks
Desired Qualifications
- PLC experience is preferred
