Job Summary
Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim while maintaining orderly conditions in rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Sweeps and vacuums floors, dusts furniture and equipment, polishes metalwork, and washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to the disposal area, replenishes bathroom supplies, and moves small equipment or tools between departments. Works the 1st shift at Garfield Medical Center in Monterey Park, CA, with an hourly rate of $23.00 including every other weekend and holiday. Requires full COVID-19 vaccination, high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Ability to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to handle, feel, or reach with hands and arms
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
