Job Summary
Design, develop, and enhance engineering solutions for challenging problems within the machine intelligence team, focusing on building bioinformatics capabilities and a shared data ecosystem for biological data. Implement, test, and perform analysis on projects spanning bioinformatics, data science, software engineering, machine learning, and generative artificial intelligence. Generate and present test reports including plots, tables, and evaluation criteria from data collected throughout the test process. Complete assignments to develop practical knowledge of processes, procedures, and systems within engineering disciplines. Start in January 2027 as a co-op student enrolled in an accredited full-time undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Working towards a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Solid programming experience
- Experience with JavaScript
- Experience with HTML
- Experience with CSS
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to adapt to ever-changing environments, risks, and vulnerabilities
- Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
