Job Summary
Write and maintain clean, high-quality, and efficient code aligned with project specifications. Execute comprehensive testing and seamless deployment of programs and systems. Propose and implement strategic improvements to our software. Develop and maintain thorough technical documentation for internal reference and reporting. Communicate technical information clearly with fellow team members. This Full-Stack Software Engineer role requires 5-7+ years of experience with TypeScript and Postgres. The salary range is $130,000 to $180,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally at a SaaS enterprise software company
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript
- experience with Postgres
- Familiarity with API design and integration (RESTful services)
- Understanding of database design principles and optimization
- Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging practices
- Works well both as an individual and as part of a team
- Must be available for hybrid work environment in the office 3+ days/per week
- Must be located in Somerville, MA
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with our tech stack - including React, Redux, Redis, Node.js, Golang, Electron, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Docker
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions) and automated deployment strategies
- Experience with ClickHouse
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with LLM-assisted coding workflows
- Experience with Kubernetes/our monitoring stack (Grafana LGTM)
