Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Summary
Build, execute, and deploy cloud-native applications using Angular, React, .Net, and Azure Kubernetes Services within an agile squad. Translate insurance buying requirements into software specifications, validate solutions against architectural guardrails, and create diagrams to articulate design decisions. Collaborate with engineers through pair-programming and knowledge transfer, while maintaining high-quality code with proper test coverage and security validation via DevSecOps tools. Lead smaller groups when required and participate in functional demos to apply new technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years Full-Stack Engineer experience
- Experience translating user requirements into software requirements
- Ability to build moderately complex code to specifications and standards
- SQL experience
- Good interpersonal skills to convey issues and work to both technology and business customers
- Experience with technologies such as: C#, .NET, JSON, XML
- Experience working with modern software architectures and API-focused development and scripting languages
- Experience working in an agile and DevSecOps environment
- Familiarity with agile and DevOps principles, test-driven development, continuous integration, and other approaches to accelerate the delivery of new features
- Understanding of software development lifecycle
- Prioritizes efficient code production by using open-source frameworks and patterns
- Good working and background knowledge of area of practice
- Hands-on RDBMS experience (data modeling, analysis, programming, stored procedures)
- Collaborative attitude, willingness to work with team members; able to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
- Good verbal and written communication; effectively articulates technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
- Able to achieve most tasks using own judgement
- Can lead smaller groups where required
- Good analytical skills, copes with complex situations through deliberate analysis and planning
- Experience with technologies such as: React, React Native, Node, Angular, JQuery
- Experience with technologies such as: JavaScript, Python, Scala or Java
