Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable APIs using Django to power web and mobile applications, while developing dynamic interfaces with Angular and hybrid mobile apps using Ionic for Android and iOS. Implement data models and business logic to manage complex interactions, write unit and end-to-end tests, and lead code reviews to ensure code quality and system stability. Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions, take ownership in sprint planning, and provide mentorship to junior developers. Optimize performance across the stack, debug issues quickly, and stay ahead of industry trends to recommend new tools and improve team workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- 3 - 5 years of professional software development experience
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining responsive web applications
- Strong experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience developing hybrid mobile applications using Ionic
- Proficiency in Python (Django or Flask) and Angular frameworks
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, EC2, RDS)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes
