Full Stack Software Engineer (Product Engineering Team)

Job Summary
Architect and implement high-performance, scalable backend microservices for the core Chat Platform, including real-time messaging capabilities. Build, deploy, and iterate on UI services and conversational interfaces across mobile, web, and WhatsApp to enable seamless user interactions. Design and manage infrastructure using Google Cloud services and Kubernetes to handle millions of daily requests. Develop backend services with Python, Flask/FastAPI, and REST APIs while leveraging AI tools to enhance conversational experiences. Mentor junior developers and collaborate closely with product, UX/UI, and business units to foster growth and drive continuous improvement based on customer feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to build, ship, and iterate on software applications with an emphasis on real-world impact
- Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures
- Experience with web services, including SOAP and REST APIs
- Familiarity with architectural patterns like Hexagonal Architecture, Event Driven Architecture, A/B Testing, Feature Flags, and Gradual Rollouts
- Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- Passion for building products that positively impact millions
- Commitment to continuous learning and exploration of new technologies
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute actively with innovative ideas
- Excellent prioritization skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI tools such us: Claude, Cursor, Codex or similar technologies
- Curiosity and/or experience in Fintech is an added advantage (though equivalent competencies will also be considered)
