Job Summary
Full-Stack Software Engineer with Java/Spring backend and Angular frontend work on Public Warning Portal in a fully remote role based in the Netherlands. Responsibilities include developing new products/interfaces, enhancing existing products, maintenance, documentation, and collaboration with Product Owner; candidate will use Docker/Kubernetes, incorporate AI tools, and contribute across teams. Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, 5+ years in backend Java/Spring and frontend Angular/JS, and experience with AI tools, microservices, databases (PostgreSQL/MariaDB), and deployment tooling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with backend engineering using Java / Spring (Boot)
- 5+ years of experience with frontend engineering using Angular(JS), JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- experience using AI tools like Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code
- experience with Micro-services platforms and tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
- experience with (no)-SQL Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
- preferably experience with networking and communication protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL)
- preferably experience with Linux environments and security
- preferably experience with Kafka
- preferably experience with Linux shell scripting and Python
- preferably experience with deployment tooling (Ansible, Helm)
