Job Summary
Full-Stack Software Engineer needed to develop and deliver products and micro-services using Java/Spring Boot and Angular in a fully remote role based in the Netherlands. You will work on the Public Warning Portal within a telco-grade environment, bridging front-end and back-end, contributing to architecture that supports high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery. Responsibilities include developing new products/interfaces, enhancing existing products, sustaining and maintenance activities, testing and documenting, and collaborating with Product Owner and cross-functional teams. Must leverage AI tools where possible, write technical documentation, and participate in Scrum with modern tech such as Docker, Kubernetes, and related platforms.+Bachelors/Masters in engineering or equivalent, 5+ years backend (Java/Spring) and frontend (Angular/JS, HTML, CSS) experience, AI tooling familiarity, and experience with microservices, databases (PostgreSQL/MariaDB), networking, Linux, Kafka, Python, and deployment tooling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with Java/Spring (Boot)
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience with Angular(JS), JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with AI tools (Codex, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code)
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with (no)SQL Databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB)
- Preferably experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL)
- Preferably experience with Linux, Kafka, Linux shell scripting, Python
- Preferably experience with deployment tooling (Ansible, Helm)
