Full Stack Software Engineer

Full Stack Software Engineer to develop SaaS products for Cancer Research UK's Scientific Research & Innovation portfolio. You will collaborate with product teams including product managers, service designers, UX designers, and business analysts to translate user needs into technical solutions, delivering high-quality, maintainable code. The role involves working with JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Next.js on front-end tasks and Node.js on back-end components, building REST APIs, applying lean and Agile practices, and contributing to a culture of reliability, performance, and security (Site Reliability Engineering practices). You will autonomously deliver backlog items for existing products and participate in shaping architectural standards, automation, and tooling with the broader Software Engineering capability team. The position is office-based in Stratford, London, with high flexibility: hybrid work requiring 1-2 days in the office per week. Visa sponsorship is not available.
