Job Summary
Build customer-facing and internal product features end to end for BJAK's AI Neobank app, developing web flows, backend APIs, admin tools, and operational systems. Integrate APIs, manage data flows, and improve production reliability while using analytics and feedback to refine features post-launch. Collaborate with product, design, mobile, and operations teams to launch fast, creating tools that reduce manual work and accelerate business speed. Work from the Japan office three days per week in a hybrid setup, communicating primarily in English.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of full stack software engineering experience
- Strong frontend and backend fundamentals
- Experience with modern web frameworks, APIs, databases and production systems
- Able to build useful products quickly without needing perfect specs
- Good product sense, UX awareness and attention to detail
- Comfortable debugging across the stack
- Strong English communication
- Must be able to work from our Japan office at least 3 days per week
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, insurtech, marketplace, consumer apps or high-volume platforms
