Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for AI products at Skylight, focused on developing user-facing features integrating LLMs using Ruby on Rails and Typescript. Must have strong product intuition, communication skills, and experience in software development.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years experience building software products end-to-end
- Deep experience in Ruby on Rails (or similar backend frameworks)
- Working knowledge of Typescript/React
- Demonstrated ability to ship zero-to-one products as a solo engineer or team lead
- At least side-project experience working with LLM APIs
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
Desired Qualifications
- Professional experience building features with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs
- Familiarity with prompt engineering or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Prior work on family-facing or consumer products
Additional Requirements
- Remote startup experience strongly preferred
