Full Stack QA Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct thorough functional, integration, API, regression, and exploratory testing of assigned features while reviewing requirements to identify quality risks. Document defects with reproduction steps and evidence, then develop and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright and Python for API integration. Investigate failed tests to improve suite reliability and collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues. Participate in release validation, communicating quality risks before deployment while leveraging approved AI tools to streamline daily QA work. Own end-to-end product quality across the development lifecycle within a fully remote financial services environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong ownership of and accountability for product quality
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong quality assurance mindset
- Genuine interest in the product and motivation to understand how its features and underlying systems work
- Ability to consider the broader product context rather than focusing only on individual test steps
- Commitment to improving the product and continuously developing as a QA specialist
- Practical experience in web application testing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and switch effectively between different tasks
- Experience developing and maintaining automated tests
- Ability to use approved AI tools effectively to improve testing quality and productivity
- Experience developing and maintaining automated tests (E2E: TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright; API integration testing: Python)
- Currently employed by companies operating in forex, trading, cryptocurrency, or financial services
