Full-Stack QA Engineer

Job Summary
Perform thorough functional, integration, API, regression, and exploratory testing of assigned features while reviewing requirements to identify quality risks. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright and Python for API integration, investigating failed tests to improve suite reliability. Document defects clearly with reproduction steps and collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues. Participate in release validation, communicating quality risks before deployment, while utilizing approved AI tools to streamline daily QA work. Take end-to-end ownership of product quality across the development and release lifecycle within a fully remote financial services environment.

- Genuine interest in the product and motivation to understand how its features and underlying systems work
- Ability to consider the broader product context rather than focusing only on individual test steps
- Commitment to improving the product and continuously developing as a QA specialist
- Practical experience in web application testing
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and switch effectively between different tasks
- Experience developing and maintaining automated tests
- Ability to use approved AI tools effectively to improve testing quality and productivity
- Experience developing and maintaining automated tests (E2E: TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright; API integration testing: Python)
