Job Summary
Design and develop scalable software solutions using Python frameworks, writing clean code for both front-end and back-end systems. Create servers, databases, and RESTful APIs while ensuring cross-platform compatibility and responsive design. Test and debug applications to maintain optimization, collaborate with designers on new features, and communicate emerging technology effectiveness to decision-makers. Consider security, maintenance, and scalability factors throughout the development lifecycle. This remote role in Panama or Colombia requires full software development life cycle ownership from conception to deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI)
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and JavaScript frameworks (React, Node, Vue)
- Familiarity with databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and UI/UX design
- Proficient in software versioning tools (Git, SVN)
- Familiarity with containerization technology (e.g., Docker)
- Familiarity with GNU/Linux
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus
