Job Summary
Software Engineer – Developer - Python, JavaScript, Sql responsible for participating in the creation of new products and enhancements to existing products from requirement to execution as part of a cross functional team involved in the development of Application Lifecycle Management Tools. Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, sustain, and document software changes for new requirements, enhancements, and defects. Analyze, design and implement projects with adherence to standards; engage with global teams to translate customer requirements into software requirements and identify solutions suitable for the product. Troubleshoot complex software problems, provide status updates to stakeholders, interface with internal stakeholders regarding software issues, and contribute to team initiatives. Requires 2-4 years of experience in product software development, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, strong Python skills, REST API development, JavaScript (Angular, Vue.js), Git, SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), Linux, and Azure cloud expertise. Travel up to 10% and willingness to learn new skills. Located in Bangalore, India; Full-time role with relocation and travel opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science/Information Science/Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation
- 2-4 years of experience in product software development
- Strong knowledge of Python programming
- Proven proficiency in API development (REST)
- Frontend development – JavaScript, Angular, Vuejs
- Experience with Git or other source control system
- SQL: MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Experience in Linux environment
- Azure cloud experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact with extended teams spread across the globe
