Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality full stack applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript while building scalable RESTful APIs and cloud-native solutions. Collaborate with local and global engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle, participating in Agile ceremonies and conducting code reviews. Translate business requirements into maintainable code, implement automated testing strategies, and support CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and create monitoring dashboards to improve system observability. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design discussions within a global team serving Fortune 100 retail, CPG, and fintech clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience
- 3–5 years of experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services
- 3–5 years of experience building event-driven applications
- Strong experience with: Node.js
- Strong experience with: TypeScript
- Strong experience with: React
- Strong experience with: JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong experience with: Redux
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, object-oriented programming, design patterns, algorithms, and data modeling
- Experience designing and developing distributed applications and microservices
- Experience working with at least one object-oriented programming language such as: Java
- Experience working with at least one object-oriented programming language such as: Go (Golang)
- Experience working with at least one object-oriented programming language such as: .NET
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as: Kubernetes (EKS)
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as: Lambda
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as: DynamoDB
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as: ElastiCache (Redis)
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as: CloudFormation
- Experience working with Docker and Linux environments
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Experience implementing automated testing strategies
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as: New Relic
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as: Splunk
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
