Job Summary
Engineering Lead (Platform & Architecture) who will shape the technical vision with the Chief Architect, drive modernization of legacy systems into a scalable microservices platform, and stay hands-on across the stack using Java, Python, and Go. Responsibilities include evaluating emerging technologies, designing and implementing infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible), optimizing CI/CD with GitLab, leading IoT and cloud integrations with MQTT and AWS Greengrass, mentoring junior engineers, and guiding container strategy with Docker and Kubernetes. We seek a senior technical leader capable of influencing architecture and long-term planning while remaining closely engaged with code and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10+ years in software engineering
- experience building and scaling systems
- proficiency in Java and Python
- experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
- GitLab pipelines
- MQTT and AWS Greengrass
- Agile/Scrum leadership
