Job Summary
Design and build responsive, high-performance web applications and trading interfaces while developing scalable APIs, backend services, and microservices. Implement real-time dashboards, analytics views, and integrations with third-party platforms, optimizing for speed, reliability, and user experience across the stack. Participate in architecture discussions, write clean, maintainable, well-tested code, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Troubleshoot production issues and improve observability as you help shape engineering standards. This hands-on role requires strong opinions on how systems should be built within a rapidly scaling fintech serving a global trader community.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack roles
- Strong frontend experience with React, Next.js, or Vue
- Strong backend experience with Python, Node.js, C#, or Go
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and WebSocket services
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and distributed systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup-style environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for shipping products where performance and UX genuinely matter
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in fintech, trading, crypto, or financial systems
- Exposure to real-time systems or market data applications
- Experience with event streaming systems (Kafka, NATS, or Pulsar)
- Experience with TimescaleDB, ClickHouse, or high-volume data systems
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and engineering automation
