Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications for aviation diagnostics, prognostics, and health monitoring initiatives using C#, .NET, and SQL Server. Build web applications, REST APIs, and backend services while implementing scalable object-oriented architectures and optimizing data pipelines. Integrate with external systems, develop automated unit and regression tests, and support software deployments and defect resolution within Agile development activities. Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and aviation subject matter experts to deliver mission-critical applications supporting predictive maintenance and aircraft health management. Work onsite at Redstone Arsenal with a requirement for an active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Active Secret security clearance
- Experience with object-oriented design principles and patterns
- Proficiency with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs
- Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and database design
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks
- Familiarity with microservices and service-oriented architectures
- Experience with Git and source control management
- Understanding of software lifecycle processes and Agile methodologies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience supporting aviation, aerospace, or DoW programs
- Ability to work on customer site at Redstone Arsenal
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of CMMI, ISO 9001, and software quality processes
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitLab
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud and hybrid architectures
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
- Familiarity with condition-based maintenance, HUMS, IVHMS, or predictive maintenance systems
- Experience supporting Army aviation platforms or maintenance analytics environments
- Security+ or other relevant technical certifications
