Job Summary
As a Full Stack Engineer at Reality Defender, you'll design and implement end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. Responsibilities include building scalable APIs and backend services for real-time deepfake detection, creating intuitive UIs, collaborating with ML engineers and designers, owning technical decisions, and mentoring other engineers. A strong background in software engineering with experience in both frontend and backend technologies is essential.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience on both: Frontend: React + TypeScript (or similar modern frameworks)
- Backend: Python, Go, or Node.js
- Experience designing and consuming REST or streaming APIs
- Solid understanding of databases, caching, and distributed systems fundamentals
- Experience deploying and operating services in cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Strong product mindset and ability to work independently in fast-moving teams
