Job Summary
Full Stack Engineer to design/scale a horizontal AI agent across city departments and states, automatically process gov records to create agent-legible knowledge graphs, and integrate AI into product workflows. Must have 3+ years building production systems at startups, a track record of shipping AI products end-to-end, and strong proficiency with Python, TypeScript, FastAPI, Supabase, Selenium, NextJS, TailwindCSS, shadcn, and LLM APIs. Role requires onsite presence in San Francisco or New York (5 days/week). The team builds AI for local governments and aims to empower public servants by improving workflows with AI-enabled capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years building production systems at high-velocity startups
- Track record of shipping and owning AI products end-to-end
- Experience integrating AI into product workflows—using LLMs, building with agentic frameworks, or deploying AI-powered features
- Bias toward action and pragmatic decision-making
- Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, FastAPI, Supabase, Selenium, NextJS, TailwindCSS, shadcn, LLM APIs
- Based in SF or NY and willing to work onsite 5 days a week
