Job Summary
Design and maintain critical backend systems for the Capture and Intelligence platform, including data capture services, event pipelines, and AI/intelligence workflows. Debug complex production issues involving data correctness, API behavior, and async failures while ensuring enterprise-grade reliability. Build and deploy Python-first monorepo components using Postgres, AWS, and async job orchestration, collaborating on design reviews and code quality. Work directly on client-facing user experiences for AI-led investigations and operational workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in building full-stack systems
- Strong Python experience
- Python data modeling experience
- Typescript JS experience
- Experience of modern UI frameworks
- Some operational experience with relational databases
- Postgres experience
- Experience of cloud-native deployments
- AWS experience
- Experience building distributed or asynchronous systems
- API development and integration experience
Desired Qualifications
- Python data modeling experience is a strong plus
- Typescript JS experience is highly valued
- Experience of cloud-native deployments, especially AWS is highly advantageous
- Experience building distributed or asynchronous systems involving queues, workers, retries, idempotency, rate limits, and failure recovery would be highly valued
- API development and integration experience is highly valued
