Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain high-quality frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks for mission-critical tools used by federal cyber operations. Architect scalable frontend solutions with component libraries and responsive design patterns while integrating emerging technologies like AI-driven interfaces and analytics dashboards. Collaborate with backend teams on API contracts and troubleshoot UI/UX issues, performance optimization, and multi-environment deployments within an Agile environment. Work in Arlington VA on a hybrid schedule with on-site presence as needed. Maintain Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and DHS background investigation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 9+ years without a degree
- Strong, demonstrable expertise in frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and modern web frameworks
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and frontend build tooling (e.g., NPM, or similar)
- Hands-on experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs
- Working knowledge of Java or Python for occasional backend tasking and cross-functional collaboration
- Experience with DevOps tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, and Git
- Familiarity with cloud services and emerging technologies such as AI/ML
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts as they apply to web application development
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS background investigation
Desired Qualifications
- Deep expertise with the Angular and/or React framework, including advanced patterns such as lazy loading, custom directives, and reactive forms
- Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and related infrastructure tooling
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline configuration and management (e.g., GitLab CI/CD)
- Experience with frontend test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Jest, Playwright)
- Experience in a SAFe Agile environment
