Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, Vue, or Angular, while building backend services and APIs with Node.js. Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, implementing clean, reusable code across the full stack. Manage database schemas, integrate third-party services, and ensure application security and reliability through rigorous testing and code reviews. Debug production issues, optimize performance, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Start working from January or February 2026 in a remote-first Berlin-based team focused on sustainability transition.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with proficiency in both front-end and back-end development (1-3 years).
- Strong knowledge of modern programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of Docker / containerization
- Experience with microservices or event-driven architectures
- Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to technical documentation
