Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Java, JavaScript, React, and Spring Boot to support mission-critical logistics and inventory workflows. Build reusable frontend components, backend services, and RESTful APIs while implementing automated tests, monitoring, and observability solutions with New Relic and Splunk. Collaborate with US-based teams and stakeholders in Agile environments to participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. Mentor junior engineers and lead platform modernization initiatives involving Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and Kafka-based event-driven architectures. Ensure system reliability through CI/CD pipeline optimization and adherence to cloud security best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications
- Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript development
- Hands-on experience with React and modern frontend development practices
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database systems
- Familiarity with Spring Boot and backend service development
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP
- Hands-on exposure to Kubernetes and containerized application deployment strategies
- Experience with Kafka or other event streaming and messaging technologies
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic and Splunk
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation processes
- Familiarity with Node.js, NPM, and modern JavaScript tooling ecosystems
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support capabilities
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with globally distributed teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
