Job Summary
Maintain and enhance existing full-stack applications combining AI, data analytics, and spatiotemporal big data across backend, frontend, DevOps, and data layers. Collaborate on architecting and deploying new applications using Django, React, and GraphQL APIs. Manage cloud-based applications on AWS and DigitalOcean while developing and refining CI/CD pipelines. This role supports iQuasar government and industry-based contracts within marine transportation, cybersecurity, and climate informatics sectors. Flexible work from home options are available.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ year of experience in programming in a high-level programming language such as Python
- 2-4 years of experience in Python-based web-frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Experience with the following front-end tools: React, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, bootstrap, Tailwind, and Django
- Experience in Database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and NoSQL data stores such as Redis, or MongoDB
- Knowledge or minimal experience in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Basic knowledge of automation tools and CI/CD
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Data Science or other STEM related discipline
- Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix-like OS
- Excellent coding skills in Python, Django and familiarity with libraries such as pandas and NumPy
- Experience in handling git repositories
- Additional knowledge in AI and machine learning/deep learning technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and Keras
