Job Summary
Design and build responsive, real-time web interfaces for B2B customers to manage and analyze in-store experiences. Own substantial features end-to-end, translating complex AI capabilities into simple, trusted tools for non-technical users. Collaborate with product, design, and machine-learning teams to prototype, validate, and ship features while contributing to API design and system documentation. Manage production quality through testing, observability, and post-release investigation. Work in a high-intensity London office environment with direct access to founders, utilizing frontier AI tooling to move complex products into production quickly.
Required Qualifications
- Expert proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Portfolio of production web applications owned end-to-end
- Strong understanding of UX principles and web design fundamentals
- Experience with real-time and bi-directional communication protocols (WebSockets, SSE) and managing complex asynchronous state
- Comfortable going down the stack when features call for it
- Confident contributing to API and system design conversations
- Built and deployed services on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Evidence that you can move complex, customer-facing products into production quickly
- Shipped production code with frontier AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar)
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort with backend development and event-driven architecture
- Experience working with IoT, edge computing, or hardware-adjacent systems
- Background building for business or enterprise customers
- Familiarity with retail technology, commerce platforms, inventory systems, loyalty programs, or customer personalisation
- Background working at an early-stage startup
