Full Stack Engineer (Encompass)

Job Summary
Full Stack Engineer for a long-term project building secure AI-enabled banking software. Responsible for designing and scaling backend services and APIs, integrating with Encompass and mortgage lending platforms, and delivering data-driven features with frontend frameworks (React/Next.js). Collaborates with product managers, designers, and ML engineers; participates in system design to ensure robust, maintainable, scalable code. Requires hands-on experience with Encompass integrations, OAuth2/JWT security, cloud deployments (Azure/AWS), IaC (Kubernetes, Terraform), and modern web/mobile interfaces. Bonus points for a Bachelor's degree in CS or related fields. Compensation in USD; LATAM-based role with potential US collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Level of English
- Hands-on experience integrating with Encompass, including APIs, web services, SDKs, custom forms, business rules, workflow automation, or related mortgage lending system integrations.
- Familiarity with mortgage lending processes, loan origination systems (LOS), and mortgage/HELOC workflows.
- 5+ years of experience with frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar).
- Understanding of API security and authentication (OAuth2, JWT).
- Experience deploying and scaling applications on Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes, and Terraform — or eagerness to learn.
