Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Angular and Java technologies while building responsive front-end components and integrating RESTful APIs. Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams to participate in requirement analysis, technical design, code reviews, and release planning. Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure adherence to coding standards and security best practices. This role supports DXC Technology's technology transformation within the banking sector, focusing on microservices delivery. The position requires strong expertise in Angular (v11), Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, along with five years of software development experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years of experience in software development
- Strong hands-on experience with Angular (v11)
- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Understanding application security, performance optimization, and best coding practices
- Good English communication skills (written and oral)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus
