Job Summary
Full Stack Developer to join the Tax Transformation Office's Tax R&D Lab. Design, prototype, develop, and operationalize scalable full-stack applications, APIs, and intelligent workflow solutions across the Tax practice. Build cloud-native platforms, intuitive user interfaces, and integrations between data platforms, AI services, and enterprise systems. Collaborate with data scientists to embed AI capabilities, support rapid prototyping to production-ready solutions, and advance modernization of workflows and operational processes. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment, and engineering standards while working in cross-functional teams with TRMs, Tax practitioners, Data & Analytics, and leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role emphasizes agile delivery, scalability, security, and performance in a fast-paced transformation environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 3–5+ years of experience developing scalable full stack applications and platforms
- Strong experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong back-end development experience using Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or C#
- Experience building APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Experience integrating AI or machine learning services into applications (asset)
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
