Job Summary
Design, develop, and deploy modular micro-services and cloud-based systems while writing and debugging code for innovative software solutions. Troubleshoot software quality, security, and reliability issues by performing root cause analysis and developing fixes. Automate unit and functional tests, examine code from others, and ensure systems remain secure against cyber threats. Document software code, features, training guides, and environment artifacts to articulate recommendations. Leverage virtualization and containerization to optimize systems, and act as an individual contributor mentoring junior team members. Engineer solutions for continuous improvement and participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
- BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience
- 3+ Years of experience with Java/React
- 3+ Years of experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
- Experience with one or more clouds (I.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience using CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCI
- Experience implementing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as Kubernetes
- Experience implementing Automated Testing frameworks including unit testing
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years of application development experience in an Agile environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
