Job Summary
Develop and maintain client-side and server-side applications using modern web technologies like React, Angular, Vue.js, and frameworks such as Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Spring Boot. Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases, build RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and implement comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, conduct code reviews, and troubleshoot issues across the full stack. Deploy applications to production environments, manage CI/CD pipelines, and monitor performance while documenting code and architectural decisions. This full-time, 8-hour remote role based in Fort Worth TX, Portland OR, Miami FL, or Chicago IL requires a Bachelor's degree and proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git. Candidates must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in full stack development with a strong portfolio of web applications
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js)
- Experience with back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, etc.)
- Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and optimize code
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote or collaborative team environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Must be available for work within the United States, Fort Worth TX, Portland OR, Miami FL and Chicago IL
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
